We hate to see you go! Remember, if you are moving within Georgia, you probably can transfer your GNG service to your new location. But if you need to have your gas service discontinued at your current location, please follow these steps:
- You MUST notify us at least 10 business days before your move by calling 770-850-6200 (inside metro Atlanta) or 1-877-850-6200 (toll-free outside Atlanta). Please have your account number available when you call.
- When you contact us, please inform us of your correct forwarding address and contact phone numbers, so that any deposit refund and final bills will reach you. You will be given a confirmation number that should be saved and used in subsequent communication regarding the service termination.
- If you choose to do so, you may follow your call with a written or electronic request to discontinue service. (Please be aware that neither the written nor the electronic request can take the place of the phone call. You must call first.) Mail the written request to:

Please note that GNG is not responsible for written or electronic correspondence sent to the wrong address. If you do not let us know by telephone that you want to discontinue your gas service, your service will continue until we receive such notice, and you will be responsible for all charges during that time. Refunds for deposits, less any incurred charges, will be mailed within 60 days after termination of service.
