QuickConnect
QuickConnect Overview
Members may place short-term natural gas service requests through the Program’s QuickConnect service (“QuickConnect”) available on the Program Site, subject to these Program Terms.
Eligibility for QuickConnect
QuickConnect service requests are eligible for approval only if:
- The property is vacant and listed for sale or rent within the GNG service area;
- The service request is placed online through the Program Site; and
- The Member agrees to the applicable GNG Terms and Conditions of Service, Disclosure Statement, and any other authorizations required on the Program Site for the service request and enrollment.
Authorization
By using QuickConnect, the Member authorizes Georgia Natural Gas to serve as Member’s natural gas service provider for all QuickConnect service requests.
If the Member has gas service with another marketer when placing a service request through QuickConnect, the Member authorizes GNG to switch Member’s gas service from the existing marketer to GNG. The Member understands they may be subject to a charge from their existing marketer as a result of switching their service to GNG.
Member also understands that there may be a charge imposed by GNG in certain instances if Member chooses at a later time to switch to a marketer other than GNG.
QuickConnect Price Plan
All approved QuickConnect service requests will be enrolled in GNG's Variable Select price plan with a customer service charge of $5.95 per month.
- GNG's Variable Select plan is a variable price plan under which gas usage is billed at a price per therm that may change or remain the same each month based on market conditions.
- The per-therm price of a variable price plan may be higher than the per-therm price of a fixed price plan.
- Members may switch to another GNG price plan for which Member qualifies by calling GNG at 770-850-6200 (inside metro Atlanta) or 1-877-850-6200 (outside metro Atlanta).
- Some GNG price plans may have early termination charges.
Accuracy of QuickConnect Service Requests
Members must ensure that all the information entered in a QuickConnect service request is accurate, including the service address, entrance instructions, and the party responsible for the payment of the invoice. Incorrect information can delay processing of the service request.
Authority and Representations
By placing a QuickConnect service request, Member represents and warrants that the Member:
- Is licensed to do business in the State of Georgia;
- Has the authority to bind, both contractually and financially, the person or entity listed as the responsible party for any QuickConnect service requests and the resulting natural gas accounts; and
- Has the authority to activate and deactivate gas service at the service addresses included in the QuickConnect service request.
