Updated Call Center Hours

Due to the unprecedented impact of coronavirus, we have temporarily reduced our call center hours. We are committed to providing you outstanding customer service. Our call centers will be open Monday through Friday from 8AM - 6PM. We continue to actively monitor this situation, and will return to our normal hours as soon as we can.

The following information has been updated as of 03/20/2020:

Over the past few weeks, the coronavirus (COVID-19) has caused uncertainty and unprecedented financial instability for many of our customers. As our community continues to feel the impact of this challenge, you can take comfort knowing that Georgia Natural Gas (GNG) will continue to provide the affordable and reliable natural gas service that you depend on.

We will update this site as the COVID-19 situation evolves. We encourage you to regularly check this page for the most up-to-date information.

Adjusted Disconnection Policy

Currently, Atlanta Gas Light has suspended disconnections for non-payment until April 13th. This means your gas service will not be shut off for non-payment between now and April 13th. Before this suspension is lifted, GNG will attempt to notify you regarding your balance status, and any impact to your service, and we will work with you to handle any past-due obligations in a manageable way.

Please Note: GNG will continue to provide system-generated reminders of your balances and due date to help you manage your gas service. These are often required by Georgia Public Service Commission rules.

Bill Payment Options

We recognize that the situation surrounding the COVID-19 may cause financial challenges for some of our customers who may be impacted by employment changes or business slowdowns. To help with bill management and payments, GNG offers payment arrangement options. Please call 1-877-850-6200 to speak with a customer service agent about your options. For customers who need additional assistance with their energy bill, please visit atlantagaslight.com/residential/energy-assistance for a comprehensive list of energy assistance options.

Supporting our Local Community

At GNG, we are committed to doing our part to help our community during this challenging time. We recently donated $25,000 to Meals On Wheels Atlanta to help provide much-needed, nutritious meals to seniors - a group known to be particularly vulnerable in the current pandemic.

Additionally, GNG recently donated $200,000 to the Heating Energy Assistance Team (HEAT) to help households across our community with energy assistance funding.
