As our community continues to feel the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), you can take comfort knowing that Georgia Natural Gas will continue to provide the affordable and reliable natural gas service that you depend on. While news of this virus continues to evolve, we remain committed to our number one value - Safety First.
Our focus remains delivering clean, safe, affordable, reliable natural gas to our customers. Based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. State Department, World Health Organization, our local health department officials and Southern Company Medical Directors, we are taking appropriate precautions to protect the health and safety of our employees and customers while continuing our business operations.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation. Below you will find links to specific information about actions we are taking to support our customers, employees, vendors, and suppliers. We will update these links as necessary to keep you informed about any changes as the situation evolves.
The Atlanta Gas Light (AGL) suspension of disconnections for non-payment was lifted on July 1, 2020 and the disconnection process is back to normal at this time. However, the moratorium on disconnections for non-payments has been extended for medically fragile customers required to continue sheltering at home. If you qualify as medically fragile, please call us at 1-877-850-6200.
We recognize that the situation surrounding the COVID-19 may cause financial challenges for some of our customers who may be impacted by employment changes or business slowdowns.

We are unable to forgive outstanding balances; however, help is available for customers who need additional assistance with their energy bill. Please visit atlantagaslight.com/residential/energy-assistance for a comprehensive list of energy assistance options.
As a reminder, please be aware that criminals may try to take advantage of the situation surrounding COVID-19. If you have any questions or concerns about your gas bill, we encourage you to contact our Customer Care Center or use our online resources to validate the status of your account.

At GNG, we are committed to doing our part to help our community during this challenging time. GNG is investing $200,000 to Georgia-based nonprofit organizations to support their work to provide essential services and financial assistance.
The funding will be distributed to various metro Atlanta agencies including Giving Kitchen which provides financial assistance to food service workers in crisis. Additional organizations that will receive funding include Meals On Wheels, A.G. Rhodes Health & Rehab, and Visiting Nurse Health System which provides in-home care to patients affected by COVID-19.
